The Broken Isles is a 2-4 player pirate themed strategy game.
Each player is a band of pirates searching for one of each of the lost gemstones – a ruby, a sapphire, and an emerald. The first player to unearth one of each wins, sailing off into the sunset with their newfound treasure.
The game is highlighted by:
Dynamic board rearrangement (the islands are alive)
Chance bag draws (dig for gemstones)
Area Control (pirates and captains)
Strong comeback opportunities (combat power swings)
There are billions of possible starting boards. Each time you play is unlike the last.
For two experienced players, the game may resolve in 20 minutes. For newcomers a game may last 45~90 minutes.
